Dan,
I believe I read somewhere that when playing Yamaha styles there were
certain tracks that needed to be muted or something had to be done
before playing them - where did I get that idea from?

The goal is that you don't have to mute anything.
vArranger is deciding how to adapt the Yamaha styles to the Ketron SD2.
I know that the algorythm is still perfectible.
If you hear something strange on a style, just try to press the S button (SOLO) on each track, to find where does it sound strange.
Tell me it, and I will correct the thing on the next release.

I have just began experimenting with the Tyros styles.  I think I will start with the Tyros 1 styles first.
