SONG CHORDS DO NOT GO TO THE BEGINNING OF OF THE NEXT SONG

When Song Chords finishes playing a song, it doesn't automatically go to the beginning of the next Song Chord that I choose, before I actually press the START of that song.

When I'm running the vArranger with my Disaster Area midi foot controller, It's awkward to have to always touch my computer to accomplish this.

So when I call up a new Song Chord, using the midi foot controller I want the Song Chord to show the beginning of the next song on the vArranger screen.

I know that if I start the Song Chord it automatically jumps to the beginning of the next Song chord. But, I need to see the beginning of the next Song Chord on the vArranger screen before I actually push the start for the next Song Chord to play.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

John

You are right... I just changed this.
On the next coming version, when you load a new song, the scroll bar will go back to TOP.
The same when you close and open the SONG CHORDS screen.

Thank you Dan for your willingness to always be looking for ways to make the vArranger even better.

Hello Dan,

Wow! Just downloaded the Beta 1.17. The first thing I noticed was a different SONG CHORD structure. And with great anticipation I loaded a new Song Chord and played it to the end: and the scroll bar automatically went to the top. For me, controlling the start/stop, next song/previous song of the Song Chords with the Disaster Area midi foot controller was very important, this was a most welcome upgrade. Thank you very much Dan.

I've noticed that instead of chord names for the incidentals, they are appearing in a different format. For example a Bb is now a B!, A Bbm is now B!wm, etc. Is there a way to show a minor as a m, and a B flat as a Bb instead of as a B! ? All of the other chord incidentals, except for the 7 have also been altered.

Is there a list somewhere of all the new software improvements included with the 1.17 Beta upgrade?

I just wish I had bought the vArranger & the SD2 when they first came out, instead of buying the 3 earlier Ketron models. Then the SD4, the SD, and SD Plus, and MidJay, and the MidJay Plus; and the midi bass pedals and switches. I would have saved not only all that money, but my skill level with the vArranger would have been so much higher, instead of all the time spent learning the new Ketron equipment every couple of years when something new would come out. The beauty of the vArranger being a software program installed in your laptop, all the upgrades don't have to be repackaged and sold as a new vArranger model, like the Ketron modules and keyboards. Not to mention having to endure all the bugs in the new Ketron equipment. And, not to mention poor, poor, poor support from Ketron. All the support help came from Bob and the Solton Club.

And then, to be assured that all your concerns are actually read by Dan the DEVELOPER; and if not answered by other vArranger owners, then the DEVELOPER will personally answer your questions; and even log into your computer to fix an issue.

On top of that, the pure joy in playing and controlling the vArranger is something every musician should experience at least once, whether with a keyboard or guitar.

Hey John,

Thank you for your kind words.

I have a new Beta6 version for you to try if it corrects your chord display bug

Hey Dan,

I'm trying the beta 6 now, but the chord incidentals are still the same. B! for Bb, B Minor showing up as Bae, X for sus4, etc.

Thanks,

John

Hey Dan,

Another thing I've noticed is the chords are missing from the downloaded 7208 Song Chords file.

After I've saved 5 styles to a vArranger folder, and pull up the Song Chords, no chords are showing.  When I change from one Song Chord to another Song Chord the name of the song changes in the style window, all of the voices and volume levels are also changing, but the Song Chord window is blank.

If I enter a few chords into the Song Chord then the style plays.

The 7208 files are normal styles. You have to add the chords, then SAVE SONG with song chords checked.
When you save, Look at the folder where they go
