Dan
I have been experiment,
My 1st midi out is going into Logic Pro X on my Imac, it sounds fantastic ;)

I have 16 channels set up in the same order as your Varranger bottom sliders.

However!!! Left 3-channel 1, Right 2 channel 14, Right 3 channel 15 and Right 4 channel 16 dont appear to be transmitting note on off data. the volume sliders are working in Logic but no sounds are being played on those 4 channels.

You have to put a sound in those tracks so they send notes.

And if it's not the case, right click on the track to see if it sends to the right midi out.

stewbow

OK.
Got it all working, only took me 3 days

it's  really good, I'll do a youtube video when I get round to it

Now I can finally go back to work, I've got so much paper work to do

Dan
Would it be possible for you to make a slight design alteration????

I have had the need a couple of times lately for Channel 1 to be on one of the Right Hand Voices.

Perhaps if you swapped the Left 3 with the Right 4???

Stuart

Dan

I will try to add an option for VST to define that the instrument can only play one sound in channel 1
Then this VST will send on channel 1

stewbow

That would be good

But at the moment, as you know, I am playing into Logic Pro and it has a built in B3 Organ that is fantastic, but it only receives on channel 1

stewbow

Ignore the last message, I just got B3 working

Dan, Another question for you regarding Right Sounds.

I have Right 1 Lead Guitar
           Right 2 Organ
            Right 3 Synth Lead
Right 4 Piano, all set to the correct volumes.
I only want to play 1 Voice at a time, or perhaps 2, but want to be able to change the combination at the press of a button, like a Registration memory.
This then needs to be saved within the song for recall afterwards.

can this be done

Stuart

Dan

If your synth can react to program change, you don't need to put them in 4 different channels

If not, create one sound with only Right1 set.
Click Right 2 track, and then select OFF (on top of PIANO, E.PIANO...sounds)
Do ten same for Right 3 and 4.

Then SAVE RIGHT SOUND, give it a name and a group.

Then do the same for the other sounds. Then you can switch between sounds.

Note, your 4 sounds can be found in the RIGHT or LEFT track, close to the master fader, and can be used in any songs.

You can drag & drop your 4 sounds into the My sounds bar.

You can select this sound and SAVE SONG and check the box you need
