Greetings from Panama City Beach Florida!   I am getting ready to purchase the varranger but need to get the SD2 and a windows computer.  I was reading up on all the new Slates that are out on the market running windows 7 and was wondering if anyone could help me decide which one is the best at this time and that will carry me at least a couple of years in the future :-)......I was looking at the Asus EP 121...Does any members use this?  Thanks for any help....jimmmiez

Hi Jimmiez

I recently purchased the Acer Iconia W500 10" tablet, and intalled vArranger on it.  I use it two ways.  The Iconia comes with a keyboard dock so that it appears like any 10" netbook with a touch screen.  I can slip the tablet off the dock and lay it flat on a shelf I built that extends over the keyboard close to me to use as a touch pad.  Very cool.

I sent pics to Dan but don't know where they are.

Looking forward to seeing the pics. Thanks

Hi Jimmie,

One of the best tablet avaible today is the Samsung Slate 7 :

Asus EP121 is good too..

The Acer W500 is half price, but less powerful.

I think, a lot of slates will come in the market, because Windows 8 will be a Slate OS !

I think the Samsung 7, is Windows 8 ready.

By the way, here are the Bernie's setup pictures
