Dan, since vArranger last upgrade (v1.20) over two years ago, we have heard of no further updates.
What are some improvements/ideas do you have planned for vArranger in the near future?

Dan

Are you waiting for a feature that you need ?

The Wizz

Dan,
No.
Your response to my pertinent question appears to be sarcastic and derisive.

Are you planning any further improvements/upgrades for vArranger?

If so, could you kindly share with members for better collaboration and understanding
of the long terms goals?

That is if you are willing.

Possibly a style editor (Yamaha Styles Format).

Hi,
Or a orchestral Mode Like Korb pa 5x for right1 with different Sounds for each pressend Note.
Best regards
Werner

I'm happy with the program, but I really miss the ability to save the settings for Right 1-4 to the style - axis like registration memory.

Looks simple and reasonable. But does the program have a performance bank where you can save a repertoire of Styles with all the settings/changes you need for each Styles/live performance?

agaton

You can make a folder for your repertoire and save to this folder all of your Styles with all settings for live and you can make more User folders. You can also save one Style with a different mixes so many times as you need, you can save Styles in this "User" folders in a alphabetical way (also numbers f.e. 001.8Beat; 002.8beat; 003.8Beat...) and you will see Styles later in this order. You can make structure of Styles and sounds/performances/registrations what you need without limits.

I'm still in the think tank but thanks for the answer.
I need to make sure how I can get my keyboard and midi pedal to control the different parts in vArranger2 via cc! But so far I haven't found any film or descriptions that describe all this in an educationally simple way! How do you know which cc to set? and which cc have the different parts? Once I've found myself familiar with this, the path to the shopping cart will be significantly shorter. But this software costs so much that I can't buy it on that principle; that I "think maybe" I'll master it!

Does the overview of all the keyboard's controls automatically appear on controller-page on the vArranger2 regardless of which midi keyboard you connect? And how do I know what kind of midi and cc control numbers I should set, etc.?

Hi!
Forget for a moment about vArranger. That software is only autoarranger. The main thing you need to operate is - your sound module (software or hardware). So - the only thing you need is to open the MIDI implamentation chart of your Sound Module and get information from that chart what controllers does "understand" your Sound module. Nice thing if your sound module has INS file (take a look on CakeWalk site). It will be very easy to operate it using free software "Selector"  https://www.kvraudio.com/product/selector-by-vague-software. It can work in parallel with vArranger and operate all controllers you need!! Also you can use ANY midi keyboard you like! The main things to operate vARranger you can do using simple computer keyboard!!

Dan

vArranger has a MIDI learn function and can assign a function to a MIDI message
You don't need to bother with midi CC
Just select the function to assign, play your midi pedal, it should be OK
