SD2 reverb level

In vArranger with midi file play mode.
Has anyone noticed the lack of reverb (CC#91 value 127)
Even with vArranger FX  set as Arena =value16. (also using sysex in midi files = F0 26 7B 00 00 06 F7 F0 26 7B 02 00 10 F7)
Im sure this is a SD2 issue not vArranger.
The reverb heard using SD2 earphones or in a small room in a house seems reasonable.
Although noticable at this level should the reverb really be excessive.
As soon as you use the SD2 in a venue, club, hall etc it almost sounds as if there is no reverb.
I have two SD2 and both are same so I am also sure this is not a SD2 fault.

in vArranger with channel and arena etc all at max you can hardly hear the reverb in larger venues/halls for about 60-100 people.
last night was ok in small lounge for about 30 people. But all reverbs needed were at max.
For nice instrument reverb the settings should be about half way so there is allowance for extra if needed.
But all needed reverbs at max are not really enough .
In previous devices and alesis vocal effects units you would never use any more than about 40-60% reverb because anymore would be like in the swiss alps. Also I with Aleses etc I would never need to use Arena reverb levels -usually "large hall" etc would be more than enough reverb.
Dan is there a way to check if vArranger is telling my SD2 correctly other than VA correctly displaying CH@127, FX Arena level 16 etc.
Remember Im talking about use in midi files but levels are also the same in live style play.
My midi file sysex  is correctly changing/displaying on varranger  CH@127, FX Arena level 16 etc.
