I have an INS-File from a Sound-Module (Blueline Soloist). This module provides several different Bass instruments. I did not find any way to save these instruments to a song or favourite or sound. I have always to go back to INS/VST and reselect it from there. Is there any better way to select different Bass instruments from a external sound module?

Dan

Once you change the instrument on any track, and do the SAVE RIGHT SOUND or SAVE SONG, it should stay there (even if the track name does not reflect the INS file)

It seems to only store the predefined sounds. It doesn't do this for Sounds from ans INS file.

Dan

it should.
Can you do a little video or pictures that show the problem?

Audio is a little quiet.

Bass-Track in this Style is not active, that means there are
no Notes or Controllers on this Bass-Track. Try the same
with one Style in which Bass-Track is active, it will be OK !!!

I wanted to save some setups without automatic accompaniment. Just manual bass and accords. Unfortunately, we can only save the sound for left and right. And left means only the accords, not the bass.

It means also Bass Track but it must be active. It is enough
to write Bank and PCG on this Bass track and it will be active.
You can use Template Styles for that what you want. In this
Styles in Yamaha Style format are only Slint and a few Midi CC-s
written on the Style Tracks and all Style Tracks are active, than
you can select all sounds on Style Tracks (also your Bass sound
on the Bass Track) and save it.

Dan

Yes, this is because you see, the BASS track label is grayed. This is because there is no notes in this style, for this variation A
Just go on the next variation and see if the bass track is lighted.
Then you can change sounds and save them
