#4
I would also like the newest version,  Thanks Dan.
#5
Any ideas on how to make this happen would be greatly appreciated!   :)

Thanks agaton for your reply.  The reason I'm looking to do this is I no longer have any hardware sound modules and would like to be able to import the song chord midi file from varranger and "hear" the varranger synth as I edit or add parts within Reaper.  I really like the varranger synth concept Dan has provided!  Vic.

Hi all!  Is there a way to use the vasynth included with varranger as a sound source for my daw which is Reaper?  Thanks in advance, Vic.

Thanks for the reply claudio.  I know Dan is very busy so patience is needed.   :)

Hello Dan.  I was wondering if it would be possible to add the ability to play a chord progression using the chord loop feature and then save it for later use.  Perhaps the saved chord progressions could then be assigned to a midi control number or pc key for quick retrieval during live play.  Vic.   :)

I would like the latest beta as well.  Thanks, Vic.

I for one would really appreciate an "Import the CHORD LOOP into SONG CHORDS" feature!   :)
#15
Could I get the update too.  Thanks, Vic.   :)

Hi Lee.  I am up and running here.  I use an axiom 49 as my controller and my loaded soundfont is the sgm 2.01.  I had one man band version 10 and it was okay but support seems to dwindled with no updates since 2011.  In my opinion there is no comparison between varranger2 and any other software arranger!  The chord looping and song chords feature is amazing to me.  I am most impressed with the chord loop as I can jam along with my acoustic guitar!   :)

Hi Lee.  I'm using Windows 8.1 64 bit with 4 gigs of ram and a modest amd E1-1500 apu rolling at 1.48 ghz and varranger run great!!   :)

Hi Dan and thanks for the quick reply.  Here is a screenshot of me pressing a button 3 times and assigning it to fade in fade out.

My midi thing is an Axiom 49 and I have assigned midi controllers to various buttons with success however here comes the strange part.  I have a total of 23 buttons on the Axiom that are midi data out assignable and out of the 23, 17 are assigned and working correctly.  The last 6 that I want to assign functions to do send midi data to varranger fine as the midi data shows in the midi monitor window and it will let me record it to a function, but when I press any one of the buttons while playing varranger, nothing happens.  All the rest of my assigned buttons work fine.  Any one else ever experience something like this?  Vic in Chicago.

You are very welcome for the amazing Dan!  Even though I'm just now getting setup with Varranger2 I must say I am delighted with how well it's working right out of the box especially with the Tyros 5 styles I just downloaded off this site.  I am using the included varranger synth.  Very nice indeed!!

Hi Lee.  Yes I am a ham.  Just ask my wife!  Seriously, I've been licensed since 1980 and currently live on the north side of Chicago.  No ham gear except for a Baofeng uv-82 right now.  I am a member of remotehams.com so I can get on the air that way.  My wife and I are currently living with her parents as their caretakers so our time leans towards them.  Btu de n9bhd.   :)

Hello all!  My name is Vic and I have a pre-purchase question regarding the chord loop function.  Does the chord loop behave like the chord  sequencer did in the Roland g1000 where
you could record a certain amount of chords with the left hand and the play them back as a loop thus freeing the left hand?  Thanks.
