Hello everyone,

I changed my setup, because I didn´t like the small keyboard on the left side of my Spectra to control vArranger.
So now I midified the 32 buttons of the original Wersimatic, which I didn´t use anymore.
For this solution I took the "Midi-Tast" https://www.pausch-e.com/shop/Midi-Tast-p175082198 from Pausch Electronic in Germany. Also available with 64 inputs.
This scanner has 32 inputs and generates a note on/off when pushing a midified button.
So I can control most of the needed functions. A very smart and not expensive solution.
Perhaps this is useful for someone else.

Hello Dan,
late in the evening I tried the splits with varranger.
It works great. So I have no need to change Midi channels etc.
Lower key has channel 2, splits are made with varranger. I have to change my presets, but it' s worth to do that.

Hello Dan,
I know the organ mode.
But:
I´ve set lower key of the Spectra to Midi channel 2 and the split of the lower key to channel 6.
In Varranger organ mode I can set channel 6 to lower key, but chord recognition will then be only on the right side- split of lower keyboard with channel 6.
Do you understand what I mean? The left side side of lower keyboard has channel 2.
Shall I split the lower keyboard only with varranger and not with the organ?

I' m very satisfied with my Spectra as Master Keyboard.
Midisport 2x2 interface, the SD1000 and a small Dell 3050 i7 with SSD are inside the organ. To control vArranger I connected a USB numeric Keyboard und put stickers on it.
Works absolutely quick and reliable. In the beginning I had a touchscreen on the left, where originally the Wersimatic is. This screen was too small, so I bought a 13,3 inch.  This one is big enough.
to always tap the correct button.
I had a problem too with the volocity touch of the spectra. The keyboards of the spectra work with spring contacts. So the velocity curve is not so exact as it would be with rubber contacts.
The solution is a small program named VelPro. You can change the velocity curve at will. You can even change the curve for each key separately- if you want that....
So everything is satisfying for me.
Only one question remains:
I can split the lower keyboard into 2 zones. The left one sends on Midi channel 2, the right one on channel 6.
Is it possible to play right hand on channel 1 and choose another sound from the SD1000 on channel 6?

Mein Name ist Michael , ich bin 60 Jahre alt und komme aus Königsbrunn bei Augsburg.
Seit meiner Kindheit spiele ich Orgel. Das erste Geschütz dieser Gattung war damals die Farfisa Jaqueline deluxe, welche mich klanglich aber nicht lange begeisterte. Eine Dr.Böhm DNT/C war das nächste Modell, welches ich besaß. Viel erweitert, gelötet und viel Spaß damit gehabt.
Im smarten Alten von ca. 14 Jahren stelle ich fest, dass es zweierlei Geschlechter gab und ich mich zur Damenwelt sehr hingezogen fühlte. So kam es, dass ich erst mal eine Pause mit Orgeln einlegte, um mein Leben zu genießen.
Die Böhm hatte ich im Speicher trocken stehen und in den 90ern wollte ich sie wieder zum Leben erwecken, was anfänglich nicht gelang. Elkos wechseln und und und...
Mitte der 90er kaufte ich meine erste Wersi. Eine Wega. Von da an, war ich verliebt in den Sinus von Wersi. Über die Jahre gesellten sich  Helios, 3 x Galaxis, Spectra, Hammond HX100, Hammond XE2, eine Wersi Scala und noch andere Modelle zu mir.
Anfang 2019 zerbrach die 1992 geschlossene Ehe und ich musste mich von den Orgeln- bis auf Scala und Spectra- aus Platzgründen trennen.
Aktuell habe ich die Spectra als "Varranger- Orgel" umgebaut.
Im Seitenblech ist ein Touch Display verbaut. Dazu sind ein MiniITX- Board, ein Midisoprt 2x2 Interface und ein Ketron SD1000 im Inneren der Spectra untergebracht.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit, allerdings lässt die Bedienung noch Wünsche offen.
Mal sehen, ob ich noch einen Hardware Midi Controller, oder TouchOSC zum Einsatz bringe.
Ich habe gestern von Paolo den Varranger2 gekauft und warte nun darauf, dass Dan die Lizenz auf mich transferiert.
