Hi again Dan and all,

Dan, I don't know where my mind was when I replied to your post about the Nanokontrol. I realized I didn't ask my original question very well.

What I really want to know is what type of keyboard people are using with vArranger.

Thanks Dan.

Thanks Dan. The good thing about your recommendation of the Korg Nanokontrol 2 is that I already own one.  ;)

Hi All ... I hope you are well.

I am interested in which controllers people have had the best experience with when controlling vArranger. I would think you could get a midi controller with lots of buttons, knobs, and faders
and map those to vArranger. Another option might be to get an older arranger keyboard with buttons, knobs, and faders already set up for accessing arranger keyboard functions.

Which controller(s) are you using to control vArranger.

Thanks,

Bill

The vArranger² Software Forum / Songbook Feature
July 14, 2022, 12:51:13 PM
Hi all ... I hope you are staying safe.

I have a general question about the songbook feature in arranger keyboards which I will try to keep appropriate for this forum which is related to vArranger.

My first arranger keyboard (the KorgEK50) is an entry level arranger without a songbook feature. My initial question is to try to get an understanding of what "songs" include. I believe a song includes the sounds and styles that are appropriate for playing a particular song. My confusion comes in with midi files. Are song specific midi files always associated with a song? How are the midi files used?

I believe there is a songbook feature in vArranger. Is it a database like the Korg songbook?

Thanks in advance for any help understanding this feature.

Hi and thanks very much for the information. Is another option to use vsts? I own Native Instruments Komplete 13 and it would be great to use those sounds.

Also, from your information I see you use Band in a Box. Do you use it much with varranger?

Thanks again.

Hi angel1001  and all,

I just learned about vArranger2 today so I am trying to understand how things work. Do you need a sound module like the SD1000 for vArranger2 to work properly?

Thanks for any help.
