Hello. I'm thinking about buying a ketron SD1000, so far I've been using ketron sounds in the form of a sampled bank of Ketron SD2 in the form of SF2 and it works flawlessly. Will changing the configuration to a hardware Ketron SD1000 bring any improvements, better samples, etc.? Does Ketron SD1000 work properly with Varrange2? I read somewhere about problems with effects.

I'm happy with the program, but I really miss the ability to save the settings for Right 1-4 to the style - axis like registration memory.

Hi, I have Varranger and I have SF2 Ketron SD2 sounds loaded. Styles from Ketron SD1, SD5 work very well, but Korg styles are unfortunately terrible What will be the best solution - will buying the SD1000 module improve playing with Korg styles, or will Korg Dan Bank be enough? I have Genosa Bank and it works great - will there be no sound conflict if I buy Korg bank?

I don't know what other users of the program think about it, but in my opinion it would be good to add the ability to save style and right hand settings in the next update - it would be a great convenience - something like Registration Memory...

Hello. I have the following problem - I am trying to save the settings of the right hand (UPPER) and after saving everything returns to the previous settings ( What am I doing wrong? Is the only way to save as "RIGHT SOUND..."? Then an additional USER file is created, which I would rather avoid...

I understood. But for me it's the individual sounds that matter. I understand that your settings mean that Varranger sends messages to Cantabile on individual VSTI-loaded tracks and e.g.: Avenger selects General MIDI sounds itself...? What I mean is that I want to set what sounds will be played on the instruments loaded into Cantabile. For example, bass guitar no. 5, not 2. And when I load the style in Varranger - it will send the ready settings to Cantabile. But this is probably not possible You have to create a preset in Cantabile for each musical style in Varranger.  Next load the style in Varranger (e.g. Reggae) and the created preset in Cantabile for reggae. So now I use Steinberg VST Live 2 instead of Cantabile, it seems it does it better. It has easy access to presets.

I have one more question. Does anyone know how to run songs faster using Varranger and Cantabile? Now, when I want to load a new style, I have to press the style button in Varranger and select the preset in the cantabile, which is quite inconvenient - my monitor is small. Is there any setlist program or can we combine our songs in Varranger with presets in Cantabile?

As a beginner Varranger user, I experiment in order to get the best possible performance for live playing. I'm going to play instruments from the Dana bank and VST. Unfortunately, Varranger does not save settings VST. So I came up with an idea:
I set the output to LoopMIDI Port on the tracks: "SENT TO OUT MIDI 3". I turn on DAW - Cakewalk, set subsequent tracks with VST sounds and synchronize them with Varranger tracks. When the song sounds correct, it saves its status in Cakewalk and Varranger. The big disadvantage is the fact that when I want to play with the same settings later, I have to select a style in Varranger and in Cakewalk.  Is there a better, faster way to load settings with saved VST functions?

Doesn't anyone use KORG bank? I would like to know how I can make Korg styles sound good... Maybe just buy a Ketron SD1000?

Hello. I have a question about the Korg sound bank for the Varranger. I have a Genos bank and it works very well, but it is known that the styles do not sound identical to those in Genos. If I buy a KORG sound bank for Varranger, will the styles from the Korg pa4x be of much lower quality than those on the KORG pa4x instrument? Does Varranger read KST styles from Korg pa5x?

Hello. I have been following this forum for a long time and I have a lot of questions and doubts in my head. I own an Audy ketron and plan to either buy a Korg pa2x pro or build an Instrument on a Varranger system. I already had Korg - a great instrument when it comes to modifying styles. You can substitute your own percussion samples to the styles I care about the most. Varranger tempts to cooperate with VST. However, I have a few questions.
1. Is it possible to substitute Ezdrummer percussion in the style and save the settings in the registry so that after restarting the program everything is ready and nothing needs to be set?
2. Can I make links in the program to, for example, the 10 best Contact sampler sounds?
3. What if the i-Lock flash drive is damaged or lost ...
4. I read on the forum that the program works well with the bank "TYRUS", will Dan's bank (genos) be better enough to pay 150E?
I would like to play using e.g. Tyrus, drum samper and VST sounds for right hand ..
And the most important thing - is the program still developing ... A lot of people have doubts and this is the main obstacle in buying

As mentioned, I'm going to build my own keyboard based on the Varranger system. I once had a Roland VA7 and when the  broke, service it refused to repair - "too old equipment". Therefore, the instrument that I will build, in case of failure, I will repair it myself at a low cost. It will be like a puzzle. - keyboard, screen, interface, processor, memory etc ..

I like to find bargains and I found a used HP Compaq L5009tm at this price - in store condition
