The vArranger² Software Forum / Re: Analog V Lab Volumes
November 01, 2022, 01:10:34 AM
Dan is there anyway I could map the master parameter with the Learn VST Controller?
Works in Kontakt but I can't get it in Analog V.

If I look in the VST Options for Analog Lab V, Master is populated with the volume and if I use the slider knob, I can change the master volume without incident. Seems to just be that Right 1 sound fader in vArranger won't change the volume.

The vArranger² Software Forum / Analog V Lab Volumes

Hi,
I'm having an issue with vArranger and Analog Lab V.
For whatever reason when I assign a sound from Analog Lab V, even tho the volume slider goes down in vArranger, the volume is still the same volume. So in the picture I have brought the volume to 0 however the piano sound is still playing at max volume. I do not experience this issue with Kontakt. Am I doing anything wrong?

Any ideas?

Thanks
Michael

It's a really good keyboard. Nice action with Fatar key bed and 88 keys. Like a Genos or Pa5x when paired with vArranger.
I would love to get this working.

Hi Dan,
That's not positive news.
It's weird tho because the only real difference I can tell in the Arturia MIDI Control software is that the BeatStep is setup to use Global channel (which works) while the KeyLab uses User. Is there a particular channels I should set the KeyLab to - I can map this to any channel? (I.e does vArranger send the led feedback on a particular channel?)

Hi,
Any ideas on how to get the LED feedback for an Arturia KeyLab Mk2 88 key piano?
I can get it working for a Arturia BeatStep but not the controller piano.
Any ideas?

Thanks
Michael

The vArranger² Software Forum / Re: New arranger?

Hello,
I've tried giglad, primarily because they have a Mac version.
It is a very good program however it takes time to set it up. You have to use your own sounds and map things correctly.
Once you do this for all of your styles, it works really well.

IMHO, vArranger is much easier to use for live uses especially if you purchased the Genos or Korg sound banks from Dan. I've found vArranger just works while giglad requires more setup.

If only we could get a Mac version for vArranger and or a new update that would be great!

Ok thank you for that info. Love the product...just wish it worked on a Mac :)

Hello,
While I have been using vArranger for a bit now, I have a few problems that I can't seem to solve.
Firstly, as a Mac person, Audio in Windows is very different. Specifically when it comes to ASIO drivers and latency.
I'm using a Dell Latitude 5290 quad core i5, 1TB SSD and 16GB memory.
I'm also using a Behringer UMC204HD with the Behringer ASIO drivers.
As well, I have a Piano sound with Kontakt VST being used.
With that said, while using vArranger, I notice occasional pop and clicks after a bit.

I've checked my memory usage between the VST and vArranger and there is still about 5GB of a free space remaining.
I used a program called LatencyMon and it determined an ACPI driver is causing the problem.
Googling this seems to be a common issue with tablet/laptops especially from Dell.

I've tried enabling Windows Ultimate performance mode via registry edit and it has greatly improved the pops/clicks however it still occurs occasionally.

Has anyone run into any issues with this?

Thanks
Michael

The vArranger² Software Forum / macOS or iPad App?

Hi Dan,
Just wondering could you foresee a macOS version of vArranger or even an iPad app of vArranger at some point in the future?

Thanks

Hi,
Is there a way to freeze my sounds?
For example, upon changing to a different style, I don't want the "my sounds" to change.
Thanks

Hi, I'm also experiencing this issue (when I add a VST channel to Right 2, it doesn't recall correctly - but using the vArranger native sounds it works fine)
I'm on version 1.19.12.
Is there a newer version?

Hello,
I'm trying to save a Korg PA4X style that works perfectly in vArranger.
How do i import the varranger .sty into a Yamaha Genos?
Do i need a converter?

That works!
Thank you

Hi, did you ever figure this out? I think I'm having the same issue.

The vArranger² Software Forum / Kontakt VST
October 18, 2020, 04:28:04 AM
Hello,
I'm trying to understand how to properly use VSTs.
I have Kontakt loaded with several different patches.
For example, one Kontakt patch is a Grand Piano and another is Strings.
This works all fine and dandy until I restart vArranger.

If I go to my saved Right Hand patch, there is no sound.
When I go to the VST options and load one of the sounds it works fine (i.e. Strings or Grand Piano).

Ideally, I would like it to load both sounds so that if I click on a Right Hand sound that uses Strings, and then Grand Piano it would work natively.
Is this possible?
Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks
Michael
