Is it possible to have some beta versions to test?

It is interesting to know that we can use 2 pc keyboards on the same PC
It is possible for exemple to buy a separate Bluetooth pc keyboard that will be used for controlling vArranger, and labelled as wanted
They are pretty cheap today
btw vArranger is not down ...
Quote from: v.muller on July 28, 2025, 04:00:23 PMIn this case, I would like to defend Dan.
It probably wouldn't be a problem to implement in the program, but it's about efficiency.
If you want to press Variation B, for example, you first have to look at the monitor, where you will read that you have to press the X key, and then you will look for this key on the keyboard.
Dan meant that it is faster and more practical (and currently immediately feasible) to make labels directly on the keys.
The alternative, as I wrote 7 years ago, is to use a more intuitive selection of keyboard shortcuts.

However, the best option is a separate control unit.

Quote from: Dan on July 28, 2025, 11:23:49 AMThis is a good idea, but I think usually, it is better to stick a label on the PC keyboard..... It is more intuitive
Quote from: v.muller on July 25, 2025, 09:43:49 AMIf I use a PC keyboard to control the vArranger, I use these keys:
Variation A - A
Variation B - B
Variation C - C
Variation D - D
Ending 1 - 1
Ending 2 - 2
Ending 3 - 3
Start/Stop - Space (or 0)
This selection is very intuitive, so I don't need to look at the help.
I don't usually need to control the other functions while playing, so I don't need keyboard shortcuts for them
Quote from: freakman on October 28, 2024, 03:47:57 PMYou must set the key maps for all chords, otherwise they will not be taken into account.
I edited the style and it works now.
Test it.

Quote from: Dan on May 13, 2024, 11:15:01 AMYou can try to set the bank 0 MSB to 127 like Yamaha styles
Quote from: Dan on May 09, 2024, 01:47:22 PMYou can try using the sd1000 with usb cable and not midi. I think the midi cable is bad
What minute of the video? This is long

You can still change the sound manually and SAVE SONG
If you think one style sound bad, please sent it to me, and I will try it on my SD1000 with your suggested voices

Yes but the samples of the vA soundbank is not create from a Sound Canvas but from newers keyboards. And if you are a little bit clever you can use the three send effect with good vst and you can expand the sound.

Yes it's a really good demo but give a vA soundbank to the same musicians and you have the same result, perhaps with a better largest sound. (but SC have a best routing for effects, that's right)
