vArranger Forums

So the last Windows update completed crashed my HP and I will not have to reinstall the entire OS from scratch again as the Windowws roll back feature will not work and the Windows backup software is useless at restoring the OS.

I think it is time to attempt a linux Mint setup for vArranger and or Mac with Crossover.

Has anyone attempted this yet? If so thoughts?

The error in vArranger is

Unfortunately I can not roll back the version of Windows to the old version so my weekly show is dead in the water at the moment.

I am going to attempt to install vArranger and all the sound bank in to Linux Mint on my HP to see if this is a possible alternative as Windows is no longer a viable Music production solution. I will be attempting Linux Mint or Mac with crossover. I'll keep you posted.

I have two copies of vArranger running on 2 different systems and on has Windows 11, of which I'm not a fan but that's what the system ships with.

I'm looking for additional tweaks for using VSTi's. I am a Roland Cloud user D-50 Jup8 etc...

While trouble shooting I noticed that vArranger shows up in the task manager as running 32bit.
Does Dan or anyone know if there is a 64Bit version in the works?

I have been using vArranger on two touring rigs for over 9 years.
