Title: SD1000 MANUAL-SYSEX reverb types
Post by: jan1kow on May 18, 2013, 12:12:25 AM
I an not very shure about understanding sysex
The Sd1000- F0 26 7B 00 00 vv F7 SYSEX for reverb types seems to be the same as old SD2 - F0 26 7B 00 00 06 F7
What VV? do we insert for Hall 2 (14H)
I think it would be 14 but the Sd1000 manual says values 0-7...not 14?
Page 60......
F0H 26H 7BH 00H
00H vv F7H
Reverb type (vv=0 to 7), default = 03H
10H : Room1 11H : Room2
12H : Room3 13H : Hall1
14H : Hall2 15H : Plate
16H : Delay 17H : Pan delay

Also about the sysex reverb levels.
If default is 32 they do not suggest the above and below the default values? Im i missing something?
SYSEX - F0H 26H 7BH 02H 00H vv F7H
Reverb master level, default = 32
= F0 26 7B 02 00 32 F7

yeah Dan stays pretty cool, I asked him what are your first impressions after reading the initial documents? He answered when I get it I'll let you know. BANG.

Yes before saying the SD1000 is good and everyone here need one :)...  I need to hear it, and play music with it, go through every midi messages like I did for the SD2.

Maybe I will discover a some bugs?

How this module will work with existing vArranger....Ketron, Yamaha and Roland styles... and preset sounds...

Too much things to try before talking

Yes Dan the message was sent as a joke. Your resposibilities are very different from mine. I am not asking you to base my decision on the purchase, I have already put an order in, I was just referring to how matter of fact you are. I appreciate the work you are going to put into it, and am looking forward to your observations.
