Title: excel spreadsheet for song chord charts
Post by: jan1kow on April 23, 2013, 10:00:28 AM
Does anyone know if there is a excel spreadsheet (xls) for chord charts similar layout to vA song chords charts.
I want to save time without having to type (eg Cmaj7) etc and simply have a drop down list to choose the chords to be placed in the Excel cells when preparing chords for songs before use in vA.

Hello,

I've found this old topic with no reply and I also subscribe for it.
Is there any chance to be implemented? I am finding it very usefull..

It is easy enough to create a drop down list for chords in Excel ,
and you can combine the Cells to create a Chord Chart.
I too hope that there will be some quick way to Import Chord Charts into vArranger
from text file or MusicXML file or Yamaha XG Midi file(From Arranger Keyboard).
Also , is there a way to add a repeat Loop into vArranger's Chord Chart for testing
a Chord progression without having to restart the Chords manually every time it ends.
(Handy for checking out styles rather than just the one fixed chord playing)
