Just loaded up a Windows 8 on my laptop...runs fine, but vA maybe has some issues with the DotNet version?? it takes on average about 3 minutes (seriously) for vA to load, and then there seem to be some audio/midi issues as well...

Dan can you confirm you have had vA running as smoothly on 8 as on 7?

Yes, the slow has been reported. On my Windows 8 computer, after I updated Windows, it runs fast again.
No Audio/Midi issues for now.

Thanks Dan - yeah I have updated W8 with latest as well...still takes the same time...but at least you have confirmed it is not the DotNEt version W8 is using...I will have to look elsewhere for the culprit :)

Apart from that, W8 is terrific - especially on my touchscreen laptop :) I found it a bit awkward on my DAW with no touch screen, so I transferred the licence to the lappy.

I'm having same issue and having not running vArranger with any other Windows versions before, I didn't know that it was strictly a Win8 issue :) It doesn't take as much as 3 mins but about 1 1/2 min is normal for vArranger2 1.17 to show up. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.
