Title: Adjusting the speed of Delay
Post by: stewbow on February 19, 2013, 11:25:55 PM
So if I select say my Right Sound, I know that I can select Delay from the drop down menu and increase the amount of delay with the chorus knob, But can I change the speed of the delay, AND is there a setting where I can link the delay speed to the tempo of the style??
thanks

Stuart

Effects are very dependent on the synthesizer you are using.

Most of synthesizer have REVERB and CHORUS for FX1 and FX2.

The selection of DELAY and the other FX settings are working for the Ketron SD2.

Let me know witch keyboard you are using...
I will maybe implement the control of some more XG FX with some sysex.

I've just taken delivery this evening of a SD2
Very impressed, it plays all the Tyros styles very well
I'll be sticking with it

I just sent you an email...

You can select more FX settings, on the OPTIONS/EFFECTS.
Or select some more preset in the extreme right  DELAY 1 / DELAY 2/ DELAY 3...

This is only for Ketron SD2

They are from the Ketron SD2 sysex tables.
There is no tutorial on this, but you canask for a button, I will try to explain.
Try to experiment

I'm not at my equipment at the moment Dan
but just a couple of questions, are the effects settings global and are they for just the right hand voices and are they saved when you save a song?

They are global on the Ketron SD2, so every track that you select with a delay will receive the DELAY settings you previously set.

The FX settings can't be saved. You are the first one since 3 years talking about it on this forum :)

I will probably add more FX settings to save when I will find a good fx model for my virtual instrument.
