Title: Using the Roland PK5 or the Ketron K8
Post by: 77irish on March 08, 2012, 07:51:41 PM
I am a guitar player. To make my world a perfect place to live in, this is what guitarist like me are crying out for.

1.) Software to play styles and midi files while displaying the lyrics.
2.) This software should be iPad/tablet compatable for the purposes of cliping it to a mic stand for ease of use and visability.
3.) It would need to be able to be triggered by midi bass pedals (eg: Ketron K8, Roland PK5 or similar).
4.) It must be able to recognize 2note chords (eg: E & G = Em).
5.) It would also need to be compatable with other midi switches (eg: Ketron FS6 or similar) in order to trigger midi functions such as fills endings, etc.

Can the vArranger2 do all that?

Hi 77irish,

I, too am a guitar player and have a Godin Midi guitar which I play thru vArranger2 with no problems what soever.

I also have midi keyboard attached at same time and also Midi Pad by Korg.

All run without a hint of a issue.
