Everyone has been so nice to me, I thought I would share some Midi files with all of you.
These are songs that are fairly new, within the last 5 years.
I believe they were made from the mp3 for the song.
And they are very, very close to the original song structure.
Try the Michael Buble songs, they are exceptional.
Yes, there are 1,184 different songs in here!
Just unrar it.

I played them through vArranger and used Hypersonic 2 for playback.

I am currently playing around with Kontakt 5 and I have got vArranger ported to Kontakt 5.

I play certain instruments to Konatkt and some to SD4 and or SD2

I very like vArranger as midifile player !
I post a MP3 of "Flying to the moon", a midifile posted by Gerard (thank's Gerard).

The file is recorded on a portable Tascam. The synth is a Roland EM 55.

Hi fazfaz,
I highly recommend you try that same song using Hypersonic 2 as the output.
You will hear a big difference in the sound.

FazFaz, you have one sound who is strange !!

There is like a filter on it

I don't hear the flute too...

Try listening to every tracks and see why it is strange.

By the way, very nice brass sounds.

I tried it with HyperSonic 2. It is very well played, and sounds good, but Brass sounds are very hard to reproduce by a synth. I think there is still better brass sounds to find :)

I prefer the Ketron BRASS

Also, HyperSonic 2 does not own the BRUSH GS drum kit. only one GM drumkit.

Fazfaz, try muting the PERC track in vArranger and that weird sound should go away.

There is no perc track when vArranger read the midi file. The midi channels are redistributed (it's an english word ?) differently.

I have reloaded the midi file and curiously all is ok now in GM, GM2 and GS.

Dan you are right about the brass of the Hypersonic. I prefere the Roland. To stay with Roland, the same midi file plays by the old Edirol Hyper Canvas. Very good for me.

Dusan, I have got a message from the data center, that too much gigabytes of data where downloaded from the forum.
Because of the download limit on the vArranger server, I had to decide that only vArranger users can download the bonus files.
We have now a very large space to share files
