Title: Foot Pedal to use with vArranger
Post by: RBW on December 03, 2020, 12:35:48 AM
Any recommendations for a compact foot pedal to use with vArranger to start/stop style playback?  Having both hands on accordion, a foot pedal would be handy.  I can start playback with the bass buttons on the accordion, but stopping at the end of playing would need to be done with a pedal I assume (other than touchscreen).  Thanks.

How many foot switch do you need?
Most of the vArranger functions can be controlled

What about to use this function?

1) Prepare a list of the section for your song in the vArranger.
(I don't know if this function is already implemented.)
for example:
Intro 3, Main A, Main B, Main A, Main C, Main D, Ending 3

2) Press a key (or footswitch) to go to the next section. (using fill-in)

In this case, you should need only one switch

If you only need up to 3 pedals, you can check on Amazon  " USB foot pedal "
They have some models with 3 pedals that sends "PC" keys. They are very cheap. Don't know about quality...
vArranger can then recognize the PC keys sent and launch the functions

Thank you all for the feedback.  Seems I will only need one switch and will check out amazon for a USB pc pedal.  Cheers.
