Title: Question?
Post by: imaxuout on October 01, 2020, 10:48:16 PM
To whom this may concern....

I have a Roland RD2000.

Will Varranger work with it midi in/out Using the Rd2000 as a sound module and midi keyboard?

I also have Roland sound canvas on my iPhone will varranger work with that as my sound module?

I use to own a korg pa and have many sets. can varranger import sets not just individual styles.

Lastly do you have any plans on making an iOS version?

Thank you,

I would very much appreciate any and all feedback.

Hello,

- Yes, the RD2000 can be used as a midi master keyboard and a GM2/GS sound module
- If your iPhone has an midi input that you can connect to the Windows PC, and if the Roland sound canvas app reacts to most MIDI messages, including midi program changes etc... on the 16 midi channels, then it should be ok
- vArranger can load Korg STY files only. Some STY files includes many styles inside. They are ok too.
- No iOS version planned for now

Regards,

Dan

Hi Dan, thank you for the reply.

Anyway... thanks for making this (varranger) an option.
