Title: VArranger and PDF files-SOLVED!
Post by: Deane on June 29, 2011, 09:53:52 PM
Dan,
Will a PDF file display in vArranger?
I have thousands of lead sheets in PDF format.

How are music sheets displayed with songs when called up.

Dan,
I converted 2 PDF leadsheets to .jpg format.  I have a Folder named "Gig Set" in which I have about 17 songs so far.  I created a Folder named "Score" in the Gig Set Folder.  In the Score folder I placed the 2 converted jpg leadsheets.

To check the setup I selected Gig Set and selected one of the songs for which I had copied the leadsheet into the Score folder.   No leadsheet is displayed.  Perhaps I misunderstood - is a 2nd display needed to see the leadsheet?

The name of the song must be exactly the same as the partition.

For exemple :

Another day in paradise.PAT -> Another day in paradise.jpg

If the names are different the jpg is invisible.

For exemple :

Another day in paradise.PAT -> Anotherday in paradise.jpg

Dan and Lylo,
Thanks for the hint.  The problem was the file names are "CASE SENSITIVE".
Problem solved and it does works great.  Only problem is I need to resize the jpg
file to display a bit larger.

Dan,
The leadsheet displays now but I would like for it to be larger.  Is there a way to cause the leadsheet to
be larger when displayed?
