Dan,
With my A-800 Pro controller and vArranger - how would I use or connect a standard sustain pedal?

Just connect your sustain pedal on your Roland Keyboard, on the sustain plug

Hi Dan,
I will try my sustain pedal tomorrow.  I am not 100% happy with the A-800 controller.  The keybed is not consistent across the 61 keys.  I might be exploring other controller options next week.   I really don't need it to be complicated.

You can try to change the velocity curve of the keyboard. Maybe one will be better...

The only one who will be on the same level as the roland will probably be the Novation 61 SL MKII

I'll check around.  I am not comfortable playing on the A-800 keyboard.  The feel is just not right for me.  Can't really describe it but it seems to require a bit of "pounding" to get it to respond sometimes.
