If you read and speak only English you can still get a lot from the French version of the users manual.
I spent a little time using google translate and read the entire French version of the manual in less than
an hour and that included doing the section by section translations. You will
gain a lot of insight and a lot of your basic questions will be answered about the software.

Dan is tremendous about support and answering emails and posts on the forum and is always willing to
help but some of the very basic info is in the users manual and it really was not very hard to translate the sections of
interest.   At the end of the manual are really nice pictures of how to connect the hardware for various setups you might use.

Hi Deane
I downloaded the PDF.  Now how do you get Google to translate it when it is not in the browser ?
Thanks
Bernie

Bernie,
You have to copy from the French version and paste into the translator.
I did only a section a time - which worked really well.
