Title: Saving Track Changes

My left track 1 is not saving correct sound change by changing track 9.  To accomplish this, I have to change it over on the right in the "Left" column.  Is this the intended method ?

Yes, the style saves the current LEFT and RIGHT sound witch own all the settings for the right1 2 3 4 left 1 2 3...

Soon you will be able to create your own sounds combinations and save them as New sounds, then save thoses new sounds with the style or in the My Sounds bar.
