Title: Varranger and Sonar on the same PC
Post by: stewbow on May 24, 2016, 04:37:00 PM
Has anybody been able to run VArranger and Sonar on the same PC?
I have in mind wanting to record the VArranger output (Soundfonts NOT an external sound module) as Audio into Sonar.

You can record inside vArrange.  ;)

thanks
but I want to record multiple backing tracks with multiple vocal tracks on top and edit them afterwards :)
Im sure these features will be in VArranger 1.99 8)

I have an M Audio interface, Ill connect that up and see if its possible to get the outputs and inputs to work internally.

I was just wondering if anybody had done this??????

You must use a virtual audio cable for this but I'm not sure you can play in real time, I think the latence is too big.
The best way is record in varranger and import the wave file in Sonar.

Ahh yes, Latency, I hadn't considered that, but it would be a problem.
