Hi !
Excuse my bad english !
I bought my Varranger licence from march 2010.
Yes,in the very first 3months my SD2 Ketron crashed !
But never Varranger !
So now these problems are finished for me !
The Ketron is stable and I can say that I play as professionnal with it 2 or3 times a week for 4 hours long without one crash.
Certainly the problem is outside of Varranger !
Dan will contact you ! And it will be OK soon !

Hi Torben,

Can you record for me a mp3 of the instable sound, and send it to dan@varranger.fr

What computer do you have, what version of windows, what midi interface?

Let me know

Dan

Hi Torben,

Can you be more specific when you indicate vArranger being unstable. That word has a very broad meaning.

Please indicate the specfic problem so the developer has focus on the issue rather than flying blind.

For eg, the 1st 5 mins the sounds are garbled when playing any style.

Sorry for being blunt,

Regards
Lionel

Now I think the error is found. vArranger not working well on my old computer. (Six years old with Windows XP - 20 GB HDD - 256 Mb memory) I bought a new Acer Aspire with Windows 7 With the new computer works vArranger 100% stable. Many thanks to Dan for help and support.

Yes ! With less than 512 Mb ram, Windows XP is very busy to put things from memory to HD and from HD to memory.
Poor vArranger who tries to keep in time with so poor ressources  :'(

Thanks Torben to buy him a new computer to let him give all its power :)
