How can I use the 32 channels of sd 1000 it's possible to use all thru USB or do I have to connect midi cable??

I want to use the first 16 channels with VA2 and the second part with sonar..

Hi,
Yes it can be done.
I have been doing this.
It is easy. You can use the USB. When SD 1000 is plugged in the USB it installs two drivers SD 1000 and SD 1000 Midi 2.
Then you just assign in VA2 one ( say SD 1000) as an output and in Sonar the other (SD 1000 Midi 2).
They work at the same time.

Solved, I was trying some other situation besides the one i said but that was the trouble, this way the result is similar.
