Post by: pax_eterna on October 29, 2015, 09:01:41 PM
In the VST Options box (the one that lists all the parameters) how can I edit these parameters ? And how an I either stop these parameters loading as default when clicking on the VST tab or load a default of m,y own choosing?

Thanks

The parameters you see in the VST Options screen are the current parameters of your VST plugin

You have 2 ways to edit a VST parameter

1) Directly in the VST principal screen
2) Or Selecting a parameter in the list, and then change the slider value

There is 2 kind of VST plugins

1) You can completely edit the plugin by setting all its parameters (usually the analog synth emulations, or fx)
2) There is only few plug in parameters that can be edited by vArranger. The other parameters need to be edited directly in the VST screen.

That's why there is 2 way of saving VST

1) Save the full set of parameters
2) Ask to the VST to send you a full save of the whole VST plugin state

Finally, you can

1) SAVE a plugin as STARTUP config,
2) or Save many different plugin states, that can be reloaded at any time

If you don't want the plugin to load your STARTUP saving, just select STARTUP line , and DELETE it

I am using Sampletank 3. Is there a way to link a saved VST state with a style? Or is this only available via the Song Save dialogue?

For now, you need to recall the VST state in the VST Options window

Link to the song will be done later
