Title: FX1-REV , FX2 , FX3
Post by: eallan on December 08, 2014, 10:18:48 PM
Please can someone help.
I'm using vArranger v1.18Beta12 with vArranger Software Synthesizer.
Playing PSR-S710 Dance-Discohouse - with drums on SOLO +  track Reverb control around 80.
In FX-REV I try to change Reverb Type but the reverb is always the same.
I set FX-REV to OFF , yet the Reverb in still there.
Same happens for FX2 - tried changing it or switching it off  , but nothing changes.
Why am I unable to Change the Effects or to switch them Off?
Is there another button I must press to make the changes active?
Also , if I right click or left click on FX3 nothing at all happens.
What am I doing wrong?

Those things are only working with the Ketron SD2.

For now, you can only set the reverb tracks to 0 if you want to cut the reverb.

There is another option, to use a VST reverb, to replace the vArranger reverb.

Then you can have more options for the reverb type

To use VST effects on the vArranger synth (And SF2), you need to write in the \vArrangerData\vArranger2.ini

[Settings]
VSTReverb=C:\Program Files\Lexicon\PCM Native Reverb VST\LexRandomHall.dll
VSTDelay=C:\Users\Dan\Downloads\mfx\mfx.dll
VSTChorus=C:\Users\Dan\Downloads\mfx\mfx.dll
VSTMaster =C:\vst\eq.dll

If you want to replace the original reverb by another vst reverb, then write the line VSTReverb= with the full path of your vst dll
The same for chorus  and fx3

To see the VST, you need to click on the lablel  FX1-REVERB   FX2   FX3, close to the master fader.

Those FX are auxiliary, so you need to set them as WET 100%   Dry 0%

to send fx3, you need to go on sound edit screen, there is a fx3 knob

The master FX is general for the whole vASynth, and can be used to add a master eq vst

Dan, tu ne pourrais pas rendre ça plus user friendly en installant le même système que pour les vsti ?

In the new Beta13 version, you don't need to write path in the ini file anymore.
Now you can click on the labels REVERB, FX2, FX3, MASTER to load a VST FX for the vArranger synth.
And you can click on the (+) to go on the VST options and to remove the VST (x)
