Hello Dan,
it is already very tidy.
Unfortunately, there are still slight sound dropouts.
Either in the fills or in the main variations.
Sometimes it bothers you until you have the feeling that something is missing.
Funny, it does not always happen.
Then I ask myself what it can be.
Otherwise a clean job.

Thank you
Freakman

Hi Dan,

My setup:
Acer Iconia W7 i5 / Win10 Home 64Bit
Midi In: Tascam US-122 MKII
Midi Out: Ketron SD4
Audio Out: SD4

I have made a demo to run a style and tried different variations.
You hear clearly in some places where it is missing.
If I do not use fills and only change the Main A - D,
it is better, but it happens again and again.
Problem is, if a Main needs a certain sound until the end of the measure,
it is strangled by pressing another variation.
The sound should be kept until the end of the clock.
I already had these problems without the SD4,
I had already written to you once before.
That was one of the reasons why I got the SD4 now.
Is also the only thing that does not work 100% for me.

if I play with software sampler then I take this output.
I go directly from the SD4 out.

When you select a FILLIN (or variation with AUTO FILLIN), it stops all the current playing notes of the variation, and play the fill in immediately. If you press it in the middle of a bar, it may sound a bit unnatural, as you hear the variation stopped and the fill in notes are not yet here (depending on your style and the moment you press the fill in)
If you press it inside the last time of the bar, it will start at the next bar and will sound perfect
I did not find a solution for this yet.
This is on my plan to try to improve this, by replaying few notes, but it can't be perfect

Hi Dan,

You have to be extremely careful when you push.
It makes it better, but you can not always catch the point well.
Could not you adjust it so that only the drums of the Main are on a Fill?
go out and the rest runs along with the Fill at the same time.
Then the breaks would come through and the background would not be pushed away.
Maybe worth a try.

I think Yamaha does it like this.  The accomp is playing variation but the drums are playing the fill in
It is for sure smoother but not good if you have some special fill ins

I interpret that but then it is really difficult,
because in the end everything breaks away and at the moment everything disappears for a short time.
I also tried it with my Tyros with the same style,
you can hear the instruments even with a fill until the end and the transition is softer.
Not directly quiet.
Can you not finish the end of a Mains A-D or Fill on a change without the sound disappears?
Then you would not have the hole.
