Assignable Controllers

Can any expert users of VA2 out there, help me with Song assignable controllers in the Controller List.
I need help in explaining how they can do, how they work and how to set up. Can't anything in the manual.
Can they be assigned to specific buttons in VA2? And if so, how would I do it using a Nanokontrol?

Excuse my poor english Speaking
I use a Nanokontroller.
To configure the controllers:
1- click on the OPTIONS ( green button on the top )
2- chose  MIDI PORTS
3-look at the 2nd or 3rd midi port if the name of your Nanokontroller exist.
If No connect your NanoKontroller
If YES
Click on START button to close. And go to the CONTROLLERS section un the MIDIPORTS section
Choose the line of the controller you want to control.
The line become blue and choose and click the button on your NanoKontroller.
It's done.
Click OK to close the CONTROLLERS section.
It's done
Every line can be assigned to one different button and one touch of your computer keyboard
