Hi,

Can someone explain the Pros & Cons of using a virtual midi from vArranger into a for example Sample Tank3 versus using VST in vArranger to Sample Tank 3.

Dan

The first reason I have added a VST host in vArranger is because in most of cases, 2 programs can't use the audio out together.
When I have added the low latency vArranger Software Synthesizer that allow to use SF2 samples, we had problems to play VST instruments together.
So I have added the vArranger VST Host.

Then I have added some very unique and cool features to my VST host.  So it is now very powerful and very easy too.

All is wel integrated inside vArranger.

The minus is that my host is 32Bit only (but you can use jbridge)

I am also not a so much experimented developper with VST like other software that are there since 10 years.

But.. just try it, and you will see, how it is cool to not need to set a virtual cable, or dance with 2 software

Thanks Dan

Ok so some new features will make it worthwhile to use.

Including saving of VST settings.

So plainly put that means one works within the app while the other works outside the app.
