Hi Dan,
I am thinking of buying VArranger 2 but just wanted to check first:-
I have a keyboard (Casio CTK 7200) which I am pretty sure does not transmit over midi all the functions I would to control VA2.
For instance start/stop, fill in, etc
So I am considering a E-MU Board X 61 to use as a controller of VA2 and would welcome your advice as to whether this would be suitable, before I go ahead and purchase it.

vArranger can be controlled with any midi message, if the same message is always sent when you press the button.
There is tons of master keyboards that works well with vArranger. Don't know about the EMU, but it should too.
You can also just add a Korg Nano Kontrol 2

Ok I'm convinced and will use the Korg NanoKontrol, But I have a few of questions about VA2

If I ordered today how long will it take to get it?

I intend using a USB pen drive, so what size (capacity) does it need to be?

If the pen drive goes faulty at a later date, how do I recover the program?

Once ordered, will I have full access to the various styles and sounds on the forum. Yamaha, Korg, Roland etc?
and where are these styles stored, my pc or the pen drive?

Does VA2 come with any styles and soundfonts?

Can you save performances made with VA2?

Sorry for so many questions, but I would like to order today, once I have the answers.

Hello,

If you buy today, I can send you the software today, or tomorrow.
Any USB drive size will be ok. We don't need to put any files on it. And car run from your hard drive.
If your usb does not work anymore, you can send it to me, and we release a new one.
vArranger user have full access to the download section with many good styles, etc...
You can save performances with vArranger SAVE SONG button. They are called SONGS.
vArranger comes with basic styles and soundfont to start with

For your Casio CTK as USB/MIDI master keyboard, set it, so it send on FULL KEYBOARD.  The split is done by vArranger.
