Ketron SD2 / Ketron SD4 Full Support

Hi all,

Because there is a lot of users with the Ketron SD4, I just want to let you know that I bought a Ketron SD4, to be able to support you on this module too.

I will now try it with vArranger, and will post soon a SD2/SD4 comparaison

For all SD4 users.

I have many problems with my SD4, plugged by usb.

1) the drums doesn't work
2) when I change reverb, sometimes the sound disapear, until I change the volume
3) some sounds are out of tune
4) FX type change doesn't work

If I plug by midi, all is OK. So maybe a problem with the USB.  I will contact now Ketron

Does anyone know about thoses problems? What about your SD4 plugged by usb?

In the other side. I am very surprised about the sounds quality of the SD2 sounds better to my ears. less compressed, better high frequency content, sounds are less cutted, the reverb is better quality... I prefer te SD4 sound ! but I have to find why thee is problems.

I just updated it with the latest (non official) 1.28 SD4 update sent to my email by Ketron, and there is still the same problems.

ps : I don't change anything on the SD4. only plug it and play.

5) The Left and Right are inverted on my headphone

Maybe my sd4 have a hardware problem, I will ask to Ketron and let you know.

Can you rephrase your thoughts on SD4 and SD2. I kinda got lost in your words. Are you saying the SD4 has better sound quality.

Some user's SD4 is 100% good.

Mine have a lot o problems, but I was surprised about the sound quality.

I will record the same style with the 2 system, and you will compare.
