I just bought a "Ventilator", which is the best Leslie sim box ever produced.  I am asking if the drawbars or un-Leslied organ sounds can be sent separately, like a direct out  ?  I use a Midisport 2x2 with "A' being used now.

That is the problem, the bar is blank.  I do not have the genre's accross the bar.

I see how to load files with "Load" and presume "Save" will work with the registered program.  What is the bar accross the middle that says" Style Midfile,MP3 etc ? If I use it to load a midi, the file association brings up the application normally used for midi files.

In general, what parameters have to be configured by the keyboard(Axiom61) and which ones via GUI.  For example, I want to set up a split keyboard.  I would set the range for one zone(channel 1) and zone two(channel 2), and set a split at F#2 e.g.  This method is not working with Varranger.

I know you are probably swamped with getting out updates, but some of us less experienced people would buy your program if you had some sort of simple instruction.

I have found EMC Universal quite good at converting different mfg's styles to Ketron and they play well.  I am having a problem finding out how to control fills, variations, etc from my keyboard.  To properly judge the software for my purposes, unfortunately, means I have to get up to speed using a controller.  This might take awhile.

I have only scatched the surface, but what I have managed to do is great.

I can see why you would ask the questions.  I use different tools, depending on where I am playing.  I play in a band and have used my SD2 with an Axiom 61 controller because I love the way the instruments cut through the mix.  I also use other keyboards that don't need arranger features.

I also play out as a OMB with a Technics KN7000 or Roland G70.  Sometimes I play along, as well as sing, to SMF's(midi Kar) displayed on my netbook using Notation Composer to scroll my melody line, as well as lyrics.  I have an old Echo Indigo, which serves as my sound source from the Netbook.  Here the SD2 edges out the Echo, but I have to hookup an M-Audio interface along with the SD2. Here is the reason I asked about playing SMF's and the controller keyboard at the same time.  I wasn't able to figure out how to do it.

Sometimes I use my Music Pad Pro to display lyrics or sheet music, and run my SMF's through the Arranger, or play styles.

As you may quess, I am a gear hound, but for nursing home jobs, I don't feel like carring all my gear for an hour's gig.

What got my interest was that your software is matched to the SD2, Which, fortunately, I already have.

I know you have spent countless hours on this because I have followed it's birth on the Synthzone Ketron Forum, and am confident you are continually making improvements.  I am not sure this is something I need, but it sure has possibilities.

Hi Dan

I am an arranger player, but do have an SD2.  The first question is if you can make song specific configurations and put them in a playlist in performance ?

The second is to whether you can play an SMF using the SD2 GM soundset and use the arranger at the same time.

I am very interested in your software, but have limited knowledge of softsynths.
Thanks
