I am also struggling with my Antivirus software to accept varranger.exe as a "friendly" program.
Avira antivirus handles varranger.exe as dangerous and does not allow to execute it (the info says that it contains a pattern of "BSD/bifrose.svreo").  :-\
I already put varranger.exe to the exception list of the antivirus software, and then could execute it once.
But a day later - tataa - varranger.exe was again handled as dangerous by Avira antivirus.
At this point I am not sure how to get Varranger running without deactivating or changing my antivirus software, what I definitely wouldn't do. Any ideas to handle this?

Thank you, Bachus  :)

I was already thinking of adding a Nanopad - now I know my thougths were going in the right direction.
By the way, after playing the Kronos again at my local store yesterday for several hours, I ordered the 88-key model (not the LS, I prefer weighted keybeds).

Hello everybody,

I am new in this forum 'cause I am thinking of using varranger as a more flexible tool compared to the hardware arrangers I used so far (Pa4x and Genos).

So I am serously thinking of getting rid of at least the Genos and getting a 88key Kronos instead (better keybed for me and unlimited sound possibilities).

I have not found so much in this forum regarding Kronos / Varranger - combinations. Are there experiences with that combination. How difficult is it, to set up varranger for using the Kronos as its sound source, for example?

Kind regards - Franziska
