Hello

I cant work out how to do this so would appreciate any help.  I use PianoTeq VST, and works fine for the instrument assigned to it and can be played through my master keyboard.  But I want to control its other functions such as changing to another preset, via another midi controller, but the VST does not see any other midi input.

Any ideas?

The vArranger² Software Forum / VST and midi ins

Hello

I have the pianoteq VST that recognises the midi input 1 device, but not the midi input two going through Varranger.  I updated my second keyboard to an Alesis VI61 - and want to control the VST with its buttons, but play it on my midi input 1 piano.  Is there anyway to send both midi input port from Varranger to the VST so it can pick them both up?.

Any help would be appreciated

The vArranger² Software Forum / more midi in's

Hi Dan

I have a nanokontrol, a piano and an axiom keyboard - 3 midi inputs - usb's.  But now I have a MidiExpressions quadro pedal controller.  Any way to add a 4th midi input to varranger - or is there any other software to handle all this so I can have access to all of this in Varranger?

Hi Guys

I am deciding to buy a Ketron module but difficult to decide.
SD2 seems to been very well settled in Varranger and stable, whereas the SD1000 is newer, more powerful,  but seems to have had a lot of problems.

Are the SD1000s problems all sorted now?
Is the SD1000 as well integrated into Varranger as the SD2?
and is it worth the extra 100 euro?

Any help would be great.  Thanks  Jules

Hello

How do I set Varranger so that I can play the melody on 1 keyboard, and the style on another?  Using an Axiom 61 for the melody side and a piano going through a midisport 4X4 for the which I want to use for the style.  I cant figure it out, and tried for ages!.  Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Kind regards

Hi Dan

Your software is brilliant, exactly what I needed.  I have a Korg X5D module but its drums (percussion to be specific) are off when playing styles.  Would an .INI file sort it out? and if so do you know where I can get one for it (its a rack mount version of an X5 synth), and how would I install it into Varranger - I looked but could not figure it out.

Thanks

I have been looking at getting a second hand KN7000, but found varranger and it looks a more practical choice - I only play at home for me.  So a few questions from a newbie on this.

Can you tell me if anyone has tried the Strewberry music "KN7000 reprise styles" with varranger - and what's the latest Tyros styles that would work with varranger.  This is what I was looking at:

http://strawberrymusic.store.buegle.com/product.php/5462701/

Would varranger also load the registrations from this?

In combination with my korg i3.  Would varranger and those styles give me a fair kn7000 experience - without actually needing to buy a 15 year old arranger keyboard - bearing in mind what I will use it for

Thanks
