Hi music lovers
I purchased the above to implement in vArranger and I have run into a brick wall!!!!. I down loaded the phantom INS file and it is displayer in vArranger. As the Roland .sf2 files are all in folders eg piano, guitar, strings etc, I copied a few pianos out there folder and placed them into the samples folder in vArranger expecting to see them when I ran vArranger but nothing appeared when I chose PIANOS except the normal vArrager pianos. Can some kind person please point me in the right direction.
On vArranger under the sounds folder there is an empty presets folder, what files goes in there?.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Chaps
I puchased this midi keyboard controller a few days ago and I was wondering wether anyone has mapped the controls for this series of Akai keyboards for use with vArranger2.

The vArranger² Software Forum / One for future ?

I use vArranger2 for almost all my musical endeavours because it is such a delight to work with, however since purchasing a SD1000 I have number of big band arrangements which allows me to play the vocal part. I load the midi file into vArranger and using sound edit change the general midi patches into the SD1000 patches which affords me a lot more and better sounding instruments, but there is no way, at least not what I have found, to save the altered midi file which means the next time I load the file I have go though the same routine of altering the bank and patches.
Sound edit is so easy to use it seems a pity that you not save the altered file.

The vArranger² Software Forum / Bluetooth and Midi

Hi
I have a Samsung RF711 laptop and I wish to wirelessly connect to a Samsung HW-450F soundbar. vArranger shows two Bluetooth audio outputs. 1) Wasapi : Speakers ( Bluetooth hands-free audio) which does not work, 2) DirectSound : Speakers ( Bluetooth hands-free Audio ) which does work but there is a lag between playing a key and hearing the voice.
Am I wasting my time in attempting to use this system ?. Incidentally vArranger accompaniment works perfectly.

The vArranger² Software Forum / Player A & Player B
February 10, 2014, 08:48:05 PM
Hi All
Reading the excellent English transcription of the vAarranger2 manual, Player A and B are active when surrounded by a white square. I have a style in A and in B a mp3 but when I select B although the blue cursor moves along the time bar NO SOUND and if I play a chord the style installed on A plays although A is NOT ACTIVE.
Am I misinterpreting the manual ?.

Dan
About a year ago you published an article on this Yamaha software synth. It is working very well EXCEPT that every 30 seconds or so the volume fades out and back in again. Is it a Yamaha protection device ?.

I had a problem which Dan said he'd help me with and without more ado he spent an hour between 8:00 and 9:00 pm sorting the problem out for me.
In this day and age I find refreshing and little short of miraculous, that a total stranger would go out his way and spend his own time in this way.
Thank you Dan.

The vArranger² Software Forum / loopMIDI problem
February 05, 2014, 05:51:03 PM
Hi All
I have just installed loop midi on my desktop without a problem yet when run it the setup screen appears with the following :-
loopMIDI : teVirtualMIDI32.dll not found!
The program created a folder called Tobias Eeichsen in Program Files (86)
with two sub folders called respectively loopMIDI which contains the .exe and release text. And teVirtualMIDI which contains nine files amongst them are both teVirtualMIDI32.dll and tevirtualMIDI64.dll.
Question is, where do I put the file teVirtualMIDI32.dll it is looking for ?.
My desktop is 64bit running windows 8.

Hi All
I am a new member, 72 years on the clock and before I had a stroke played a variety of keyboards. Unfortunately that is no longer possible but thanks to Varranger2 ( what a wonderful program ), by inputting the chords I am playing the melody with my left hand and enjoying myself immensely.
The sound module I am using with Varranger2 is a Roland JV1010 but I feel that it not is the best.
What sound module would you recommend I treat myself to, thus giving me the best sound from the software.
Take care
Eric
