Hello Bachus, i tested the V3 Sound Midi expander. The sounds are ok, but there is nothing
special, where i can say, i must have it. I had some expansions for it, also the Organ pack. The Hammond sounds are good, but for me the Wersi sounds are what i want. For me the leslie speed at the fast sounds was too slow.
So i sold it.

For me SD1000 is better than V3 Sound expander.

The BlackBox had other sounds. There are good Wersi Sounds in it. There is fast / slow and the sounds are good.
I like the Wersi sounds (Helios....). With the BlackBox i have that Wersi. With the right song i can say,
Franz Lamber is playing. Very good. I like the BlackBox and it's my number one expander.

Yes, the drums are great.....

@ freakman
Some month ago i bought the SSD. I was searching for good drums and tested a lot of vsti.
But the SSD are amazing. One of the best vsti i bought. I watch for CPU usage and SSD is low.
That is a perfect vsti.

Hi Soundman,

Hello,
i tested the SD 1000 and the V3 Sound expander. For me the sounds are best in the Black Box. But i must test the Black Box more intensiv. For Organ Sounds there are individual sounds to mix, percussion, overtones that can mixed to an organ sound. Very good idea.

Merci beaucoup pour tous les Styles !

The vArranger² Software Forum / New Deebach Expander
October 07, 2019, 12:06:04 PM
There is a new Expander from Deebach.
http://deebach.eu/blackbox.htm

There are some good Demos on Youtube with the MAX. There are good Wersi Organ sounds in it.

I don't want to have any hardware, but for the price i will test it, when it comes out.

I hope that this thing really sounds like the Demos.

German vArranger forum / Re: vA2 mit soundfonts
May 16, 2019, 08:16:15 AM
Hi Thom,

Roland

Bluebeat, ok i will try. Thank you very much !!!
#10
Bluebeat, i can assign it only for VA ? Do i make this in the registry ?
In the Properties there is no resolution option !?

Agaton, i use it only with the pad, no external monitor. It is very cool to have a full pc
with a perfect arranger with those small size. Only switch on an USB Keyboard and ready is a perfect organ.
#11
Dan, that did not work, but the resolution from Agaton worked.
With this 1360 x 768 it is shown correct.
Thanks to all !
#12
Agaton: Yes i have the resolution, but the window is only bigger (Screenshot 1920_x_1080).

bluebeat: With the adjustment the vsti is very small, but the option window is not correct viewn (Screen DPI).
#13
Hello to all,

the vst option window and vst master effect window are not shown correctly.
Is there a solution to fix this ?
Can the window programmed that it is bigger ?
I tested some resolutions but it would not show it in full size.

The vsti use window is very small with the fonts.
But this is not such a problem and with turning the surface i have the red delete buttons to
delete the vsti in the slot.

It were great to have the window for the vst options.

Habe ich noch nicht gehört, bisher.
Ist das auch ein Expander ?
Gibt es da eine Seite, vielleicht Hörproben.......

Hallo Werner,

Roland

Hello to all,

i would like to use the vArranger with Dan's sounds and my idea is to use the Ketron SD1000 too
for some sounds. So i will have the SD1000 a little Mixer (Rolls MX 51S or Rolls MX 28) and the USB
Hub for the Dongles in a box. It must be as small as it can be. So it could be easy to travel.....

Does everyone have an idea for me to install the hardware ???

My idea was to get only a sheet plastic. Put the hardware on the board and fix it somehow.
(SD1000 and the mixer side by side and the hub behind it)

Thank you very much.

I made some more tests with the UR22. Now it is again on the usb hub and
without power supply. I used now an old driver and the crackle is gone.
That is one of the things they have written in the steinberg forum.

But i will use my Capture Duo Ex with power supply and without hub.
I deactivated all driver not needed.
Now all is wonderful !

#22
Dan, which brand, Midi / Audio interface do you prefer for VA ?
#23
I got my Capture Duo Ex with power supply and put it in the usb port direct in the laptop.
I played one hour and had 5 times crackle. That is perfect. For now it is the best solution.
When i have more time i will try more tips, but now it is very good !!!!!
#24
I thought that my configuration is good for performance, because of the good work with the DAW.
But i read in the Steinberg forum about the interface. I can some things change. My Interface
has no power supply, i connected the interface to my USB hub without power supply.
So i will try to connect direct to my laptop and all things will get power supply.
Many thanks to all.
#25
I made a picture of the midi page......
#26
Sorry, i haven't watched to steinberg...
I will read all and try out the tips.
Thank you for your answer !!!!!
#27
It is a laptop, I7, 16 GB Ram, 512 GB SSD, Windows 10.
Varranger 64 bit, you installes that version with team viewer.
I use my Organ Audreio Revival 64 bit and Rob Papen Blue 2 64 bit.

Hello Dan,

since some month i have a problem with playing varranger.
I use your Sounds with your player. Also i use some vst instruments.
It can be that the sound is ok ,  but most of it the playback of the styles crackles and has very short dropouts.

With my DAW i have no problem. I can use lots of vsti and the sound is "normal good" without crackle.
I use the same asio sound driver (DAW: Presonus Studio One V3, Cockos Reaper, Mixcraft 7).

I use the Steinberg UR22 Midi / Audio Interface. For testing i used a Roland Duo Capture EX.
There is no difference between the two interfaces in Varranger.

My speculation can be that this happens when i add the vsti in varranger.
I must test it , if this is true, or not. At two tests, the sound without vsti was clear.
But i must try more times to say that this is the problem.

Do you have an idea, what this can be ?

Many greetings,

Roland

You see here the list of the parameters of the VST that you can control

This is in Picture One ?
There are 64 VST Controllers you wrote to me.
There is no revival Controller.......

In the vst revival window there are only 5 Controller and all other is volume.

Sorry for my asking........
#30
Thank you. but i don't understand that.
I go to Option / Controller.
There i use vst controller 1. I move the wheel. Picture 1.
In the Revival vst + Option there are only volume.
How do i assign the learned wheel to controller 99 in the vst + ?

#31
Hello to all,

i have a Korg Microkey.
For the right hand i use an organ vsti Revival (Which are very fantastic).
The Revival slow fast Controller ist controller 99.
For this function i will use the Mod wheel of the Micro Key.

When i use the Controller windows in Varranger, the Mod wheel
is controller 1.

How can i use the Mod wheel to Controller 99 ?

Hello Dan,

are there some news to this function ?
"I will later link those snapshots to SAVE SOUND and SAVE SONG".
For the Arranger i use your Sounds, which are great.

For the right hand and left hand (Organ, Strings) i use some VSTi.
It would be good to get these sounds on the preset button.

Thank you, Roland
#33
Thank you, Phil !
#34
Yes, i am interested !!!!!!
That sounds very good. I will listen to the demo sounds.

#35
@ Phil
It is very interesting. I haven't heared of this Deebach. Good Demos to listen, thank you.

@ Agaton
I will search for a wersi sound and mail it to you.
For me the Wesivoice Leslie is perfect Wersi sound. In the fast there is a twitter in the sound.
When you take a wersi and put it on a "normal" leslie, you have a "hammond" sound, but no wersi.
#36
thank you......
#37
I've tried a midi song with soundfonts and one vsti.
The Soundfonts are SD2 and the vsti is Purity.
For only playing without modify the sound is not bad for me........

Hello Michael,

thank you, i will try it.
But the wersivoice is a very special lesly.
The fast sound has in the deep placement a twitter sound.
Together it is a very special sound and i like it very much.

There are a lot of organs and lesly and the hammond sound is perfect as vst,
(VB3 one of the best hammond sounded instruments for me).

Yes i have the version one and also the new version 2.
This organ is very good, but the lesly is not like the wersivoice.
....or i cannot use it correct.....
The wersivoice is for me a very good lesly, and that is the wersi sound.
I must have much more time for the wer-sinus to try.

The vArranger² Software Forum / Wersi Organ Sounds

Hello to all,

i am searching for Wersi (Helios, Galaxis, Spectra CD) Organ Sounds (.sf2).
The Tyros sounds very good and there are some good wersi sounds. That are all samples ?
Do anyone have some wersi sounds for use in vArranger 2 ?

Roland
#41
Hello Lee,

for me Windows 8.1 is perfect, loaded in some seconds (3 to 5 seconds).
It is actually. Windows 7 is very good too. XP is out of date.
vArranger 2 works very good with Windows 8.1.  I use the 64 Bit Version.
I have two laptops with 16 GB Ram,  SSD,  one of them is a dual core intel and
the other one is a quad core intel.

Many Greetings,

Roland
#42
thanks.......
#43
Hello to all,

i read the note from Dan in the forum......

.........just copy your soundfont files (.sf2) in the folder I told you, the run vArranger.
vArranger will load all the SF2 files in memory.
Every sounds of your soundfonts that have the same Bank/program change that the vArranger synth will replace its sounds.

First i am searching for the best GM Soundfont.
So i copied all the GM SF2 into the right folder. That workes.

All Instruments are there in the list.

Is it possible to say that i use for my midi file only GM Soundfont 1 ?
Choose GM Soundfont 2, GM Soundfont 3 and compare so the best GM Soundfont.

When a Midi File is loaded what SF2 is used for that ?

For accompaniment and Midi files is the same soundfont used?

....sorry for the questions, but i haven't found this in the forum.......

Many greetings,

Roland
