The vArranger² Software Forum / Re: New features page

In my opinion, the manual should be completely re-edited in a way that starts from the very beginning, that is how it works with style, sound, song (there is a mess in those concepts, not really easy to manage), explaining all the functions of all the parameters you can work with, answering all the question one could have: what is it, what the purpose, what the use etc.; there are a lot of knobs totally unexplained or simply called with their name, with no explanation.
And it should be on-line, since any new release of the SW needs un immediate upgrade on the manual as well.
It is a lot of job, I know, but it would answer in a complete and efficient way to any question for people that don't know what vArranger is (and may be usefull for people that think to know as well...).

Thanks Agaton, but my problem is that any time I switch off vArranger I loose all the settings of the VST effect, so that any time I switch on I have to fix all the parameters again. I would like to find a way to save the settings with the sound (or style, or song, anyway).

Thanks Agaton; do you know if it is possible to use jBridge to control effects VST (like MFX from Midinaut) and save the settings, so that when opening vArranger all the parameters will automatically be set to the correct value?

I read about JBridge; it seems to be mostly a bridge between 32 and 64 bit sistems. No idea how could be used with vArranger, need to try

Is it possible to use this function to control effects VST (like MFX from Midinaut) as well?

the DIY kit is endearing, but I would feel more confortable if someone tells me that it's ok, no problem, easy to do...

I believe it's a good idea as long as it doesn't change the good features of the arranger, one of that is the lightness: I know about sound libraries with excellent sound, but huge file that will full my H.D. This I wouldn't like. Another good feature is the friendliness and easy-to-use attitude of this program: it would be a pity to change this good point of view and get another heavy and complicated program. The last consideration is that this arranger is very good to play live, while perfect sounds are more important if you record your music.
Over all this considerations, I will still support your initiative Dan, and I'll buy your sounds for a reasonable price, even if I already bought the Ketron HW.
