Thanks Dan. I find the auto switch useful for some of the styles when the fill does not sync correctly. At the moment I have to switch auto on and off directly from the computer keyboard. I use a NanoKontrol and Behringer Fc1010 foot controller which means I can have the computer running varranger located a short distance to the side of my keyboards. This suits my set up. Assigning the Auto switch to my NanoKontrol would be good.  Regards Morris.

Hi Dan,

That is good news and should be a very useful update to varranger for accordionists who play using manual bass.  Can you advise when the update is available for download?

Many Thanks

Hello Everyone,

As an accordion player I like to be able to increase the release time for the bass sound when playing manual bass.  When I do this and save the edited bass sound within a song it does so with the value I set it at (for example increase from 64 to 82).  When I change variation or come back into the song (style) the value reads 82 but the release edit has defaulted to its dry sound (64).  I have tried several work arounds on this but no success including if my accordion is sending a new release control messages but to no avail.  There seems to be information in the Forum on how to save right hand sounds for use in both right and left voices but I cannot find anything in the the Forum or manual on editing and saving the bass as I described.

Can anyone help on this please?

KInd Regards

Hello Everyone,

Traced my start up problem.  Varranger was opening up in anti virus programme on the laptop which did not allow any changes to be saved.  Disabled the anti virus and changes saving as Dan advised they would.  Some minor parts of programme not saving (adjusting release time on bass voice) but I am going to study these and before setting up a new post to see if I can figure out the cause.

I am very impressed with the operation of varranger and how the control screens are laid out to allow adjustments to voices etc to customise the styles to suit my needs.

Thanks to Dan for his support.

Hello Everyone,

I am a new member having just bought varranger and I live in Ireland.  Do not want to trouble Dan with to many initial queries so maybe the question I raise has been dealt with before.   My Varranger is loaded on USB stick.  When I assign the controllers I save them using start up configuration.  When I reload the varranger nothing is saved.  What do you think I am doing wrong

Regards

Morris
