Why does decay and sustain not work with sf2 in Sound edit. Attack and release work?

Have you tried system restore to an earlier time when vA2 was working?

I have experienced the same problem with my vA2. Then I switched from 32 bit to 64 bit version and the problem was solved.

I have the same problem. It came after an update from the Windows update.
(Total update for Windows 10 Version 1703 to x64-based systems (KB4041676)

To use VST effects on the vArranger synth, you need to write in the \vArrangerData\vArranger2.ini

[Settings]
VSTReverb=C:\Program Files\Lexicon\PCM Native Reverb VST\LexRandomHall.dll
VSTDelay=C:\Users\Dan\Downloads\mfx\mfx.dll
VSTChorus=C:\Users\Dan\Downloads\mfx\mfx.dll

If you want to replace the original reverb by another vst reverb, then write the line VSTReverb= with the full path of your vst dll
The same for chorus  and fx3


To see the VST, you need to click on the lablel  FX1-REVERB   FX2   FX3, close to the master fader.


If you right clik on the labels you will see the preset of the vst


Those FX are auxiliary, so you need to set them as WET 100%   Dry 0%


to send fx3, you need to go on sound edit screen, there is a fx3 knob

Excuse my poor explanation. I often use midi files, therefore I want to select the sound, volume, transpose of right-and left-hand sound and so on. Finally, I want to save the midi file into a registration.

Now I have installed a virtual midi cable, called loop midi (http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/loopMIDI.html) It works correctly on Windows 7 It provides many new opportunities in vA2 with VST instruments, but I still prefer Ketron SD2. My greatest desire with VArranger is to edit MIDI files and save them as songs.

Now I think the error is found. vArranger not working well on my old computer. (Six years old with Windows XP - 20 GB HDD - 256 Mb memory) I bought a new Acer Aspire with Windows 7 With the new computer works vArranger 100% stable. Many thanks to Dan for help and support.

Is there anybody there have the same problem like me with vArranger? It works unstable the first 5 minutes i am playing on it.
