MANUAL BASS is a direct function to play the bass with the left hand.  Every time I want to play the bass, I just press this button.
If the arranger is ON, only the drums will then be hear. It gives you a nice musical effect sometimes, to just play big chords + bass with the drums.

BASS TO LOWEST allow you to decide witch root note the bass will play by the arranger. It's very usefull on some songs when the chords plays like that :  C    G/B    Am  to get the G/B    you have to put Bass To Lowest on , and press the G chord in this way :  B D G
The lowest note of the chord is B, so the bass will play this note.  Just listen how it sounds.
