Title: 2 keyboards with vA
Post by: heonoocquay on December 27, 2019, 06:52:33 PM
Hi,
Is it possible to play in vArranger with 2 keyboads?

One keyboard plays the left sound (variations), and solo-playing on the second keyboad. (Like split into 2 keyboards)

Kind regards,
heo

in OPTIONS / MIDIPORTS, you can select a keyboard for MIDI IN 1, and a second keyboard for MIDI IN2, then you check "PLAY NOTES" of the MIDI IN 2

The LEFT tracks will go to the second keyboard !

Thank you for your tip, Dan and Lylo.
I use the "Dan's soundbanks" combined with voices from MOXF, and this setup is working fine with 2 keyboards. And I select button 13 (channel 13) on the MOXF for playing solo.

You have to select MIDI IN 2 not MIDI IN 3 for the second keyboard, to get the left tracks played by the second key  (the midi in 3 is for bass track)

No need to activate the 3rd MIDI OUT , as you can already access all the Motif sounds from the MIDI OUT 2

You can read this too : https://www.varranger.com/vforum/index.php/topic,3687.0.html
So you can select motif sounds from vArranger
