just a question. I'm using now kontakt as vst with some samples in a multi (+or- 30 gb of samples). It takes some minutes (6-8 minutes) to load "restore parameters". Some hints to reduce the loading time? Default save is better as "preset" or "bank"?
I am not a Kontakt user, but few years ago, I know it has a DFD settings, where you can set how much % of samples are loaded in RAM, and how much are streamed from the disk
More you load in RAM, and more it is safe, but more it takes time to load.
It should be the same loading time however if save your bank in any other VST host. Right?
I think saving full BANK is good

One solution is to use a SSD. And as Dan said, reduce the pourcent of preload samples size in option/memory of Kontakt but be carefull, you can generate some drops out.
