Hello,
I'm using version v1.17.98 of vArranger with soundfonts installed in vArrangerData/sounds/samples. There I will see that it gives sounds from SD2, BK7, KORG and TYROS4. When is start vA2, in the sound list (right hands) I can see abbreviations SF-A, SF-B, SF-C and SF-D. Does someone know the accurate assignment of the instrument types to the abbreviations?
Thanks.
Thom
The labels are :
SF-A : Sounds used with Ketron styles
SF-B : Sounds used with Yamaha styles
SF-C : Sounds used with Roland styles
SF-D : Sounds used with Korg styles
SF-E : Sounds used with Technics styles
Hello Dan,
thank you, now it is clear.

Hello Dan,

Does that means that one should not mix the voices to other styles. E.g. use not an SF-C sound with a ketron style? Why are the sounds associated with the style typ?
Thom
They are default association, but you can change them. Use a ketron style with a yamaha guitar etc... and SAVE SONG
How can I get the SF-E Bank for Technics styles ?
