Title: Moxf questions
Post by: Bachus on May 02, 2015, 07:49:05 AM
Is anyone using the MOXf with Varranger?

Is it posible to run both Varranger and the Karma on the PC At the same time
Does anyone use the MOXf as the USB audio interface?
Can one controll?(sync) the tempo on the Varranger from the buildin tempo of the MOxf

Does Varranger have VST3 support, if so, you can run the edditor (and so the MOXF) as a VST client in Varranger...

Some users have MOXF, and it works well with vArranger
I think the MOXF have many USB/MIDI ports on the computer, so maybe you can use one of them for vArranger, and one of them for Karma.  To be confirmed.
I have also seen that vArranger list the MOXF as a ASIO AUDIO sound card, so you can play with the same audio out of the MOXF, the MOXF sounds + some VST instruments, mp3, etc...

vArranger can send midi clock to set the MOXF tempo, but but can't receive clock

vArranger does not support VST3. Only up to VST2.4.
It is strange that they does not have a VST2.4 version of their plugin. Maybe because they have bought Steinberg and want to push their new format :)
