OK !

The news are :

- vArranger set the tempo of all the VSTi and the VST fx. This is very good to have a delay effect following the actual tempo, or maybe play an audio loop in sync with vArranger ! (to be tested)
- Novation LaunchPad support (to be tested)
- Korg styles : Guitar notes that vArranger does not handle yet are now muted. PA3X styles now sounds better :)
- Korg RX noises can be unfiltered if you add this entry in the ini file :

[Custom]
PlayNoiseKG=1

- ON/OFF on RIGHT3 track was muting DRUMS and not RIGHT3

You have asked the RX noises from long time. Let me know if this sounds better for you now.

Ha! Dan, I can see the possibility of eventually playing ketron audya styles on varranger, lurking in the horizon...or at least loading our own looped drum wave files to replace drum tracks in styles...am I right?

Which bug?

I try to save in Song ON/OFF for left 1, but when I save Off in vA2, vA2 return on (ON), I fix this whit Save left hand voices but it is not right solution.

The bugs are if you set a track as monophonic with the vArranger SF2 synth. (Ketron Styles do it on the bass track)
And the 64 bit VST host stop working after many VST loading
I am correcting now, and let you know

Note that it is you need to do SAVE LEFT SOUND to save the left 1/2/3 ON/OFF. This is by design

Ok, I did not know this...

It is no Bug with On/Off Left Sounds !!! It is all OK, Dan mean
another Bug in new version, with solo portamento Right Sounds
on vArranger Synthesizer sounds.

Dan, I own a license of the Varranger. I regularly check this forum for the latest news on Varranger. As I have said several time before, I like the software and I know how much time it takes to create a quality product like this. I am an IT Manager and have been in the software development business for large corporations for a very long time. My suggestion is to have the current version of the Software (Major and Minor release numbers as well as additional relevant information) clearly posted on the main product page (e.g. Current Version 1.17.93 with 64bit VST support). This will prevent folks from having to constantly read various long threads to figure out if they have the latest release or not. You may also want to put a message like "No trial versions available" on the main product page to prevent various ask from folks who may be legitimately interested in the software but may be reluctant to invest in a software based on screen images. That could potentially reduce the time you spend on responding to these trial version requests and your customers won't have to follow non-essential Varranger-related news ... Just  my two cents...Thanks :)

It seems from the discussions that the latest release is higher than my 1.17.93.

A few questions, do you inform customers directly via email when you release a new version? If so, is there a list you send these email to that I can add myself to? Or do they check with you directly on a regular basis? Or is there a timing pattern to these releases that I am unaware of, like once a quarter or so? It seems like I am always finding out about these releases if someone mentions it in a discussion thread.

Hi, BTW how can I set up the Ketron Sd1000 for better playback of the Jörg Pa4X styles? I have the Problem also with BK7M styles. Seems like Yamaha and Ketron styles work.

Just incredible that all these people who have not purchased vArranger have the nurve to ask for the latest update on a public forum!

Anyone who hasn´t purchased Varranger should be banned or even not let in into the forum. Forum should be private only for those who purchase.

I actually agree that this forum should be reserved for people who own vA - but I can see why Dan keeps it open - it means that prospective customers can ask questions.    Unfortunately it also means there is a continuous stream of "chancers" (who BTW keep  us hugely entertained with their wild claims).   

Note: We haven't yet seen to one which says:   I am a loyal vA musician who has lost all his equipment in a strange city when travelling the world for gigging purposes.   I have a very important gig tonight - so please send me $X000 to purchase more equipment and also another vA licence so that I can use it.

Anyway:  I think there should just be a contact email address for prospectve customers and then put a general block on the forum.
